The company, which was formerly called Dimetal, S.A., is engaged in the manufacture, installation and assembly of electronic of electronic equipment, railway signs and traffic control. It has its business office in San Fernando De Henares, Spain. The company was founded in 1953. The company is a leader in the application of advanced technologies and train control systems in the sector of railway signaling. It has a wide range of equipment, systems and services, to satisfy the needs of any railroad type, from that of single line railways with scarce traffic density, to lines of suburban and metropolitan railroads of intense operating management, and main line railways with high traffic density. The range of services offered by the company to its clients includes design, production, installation, commissioning, staff training and after sales maintenance of the system. The company offers systems which include Electrical Interlocking, Electronic Interlocking, Automatic Train Protection (ATP), Automatic Train Operation (ATO), ERTM's and Centralised Traffic Control (CTC), Automatic Traffic Supervision and Regulation (ATS), Passenger Information Systems and Railway Communications. It also provides the equipment which are part of the systems such as signals, track circuits, point machines, safety relays and control panels. The company has other facilities in Spain being the most important in Barcelona, as well as a filial company in Portugal, with facilities in Lisbon.
